Cat Packing Co.
Cat Packing Co.
A cozy puzzle about stretchy cats, full boxes, and very inconvenient yarn.
Welcome to the packing station, new hire. Cats arrive on the conveyor belt, and it's your job to tuck them neatly into the box. The catch? These cats are basically liquid — they stretch to fill whatever space you point them into. Pack them well, ship them out, and try not to let the place fill up with yarn.
How to Play
Your goal is simple: fit cats into the box and clear full lines to ship them out for points. Keep going as long as you can. (New here? Tap Tutorial on the title screen and the shopkeeper will walk you through it.)
1. Pick a cat. Tap (or click) one of the cats waiting on the conveyor belt. Each cat has a length of 1β4 cells.
2. Place the head. Tap an empty cell in the box to set the cat's head down.
3. Stretch it. Tap an adjacent cell to choose which way the cat stretches. If it can't fit that way — blocked by a wall, another cat, or a yarn ball — the shopkeeper will grumble at you, so just try another direction. Tap the head again to cancel.
4. Pack a line. Completely fill any row or column to ship those cats out and score. Chain clears on back-to-back placements to build a combo for big points.
The shift ends when no incoming cat can fit anywhere on the board.
Mind the Yarn
Those pink yarn balls are the heart of the challenge. A row or column only clears if it's made up entirely of cats — a single yarn ball jams the whole row and column it sits in, and you can't pack it away by lining cats up next to it.
Worse, the place gets messier as you work: every few clears, a new yarn ball rolls in. Left alone, they'll slowly choke the board until there's nowhere left to pack.
Feeding (Your Escape Hatch)
Stuck behind a wall of yarn? Spend your hard-earned stars at the π Feed button. Put out some cat food, tap a yarn ball, and a hungry cat will wander over and carry it off — clearing the jam and unblocking that line.
But it's a real gamble. Feeding costs more every time you use it, and those stars are also your score. Spend them to survive longer, or hoard them for a higher rank? That's the call you'll keep making.
Features
π± Stretchy "liquid" cats in three coats — orange, calico, and Siamese — that wobble and breathe like little jellies.
π§Ά Yarn balls that actually block lines, turning a simple puzzle into a real spatial squeeze.
π A feeding economy where every star spent is a tradeoff between survival and score.
πΌ A tsundere shopkeeper who comments on your every move, offers (grudging) advice when you call, and writes you a brutally honest year-end review (rank S to D) when your shift ends.
π A local leaderboard — sign in as a one-day shop manager and chase a high score.
β¨ Juicy feedback: combo pop-ups, screen shake, and satisfying packing sounds.
Tips
The 1-cell cats are precious — save them to plug awkward single gaps.
Long cats need a long, clear run; don't waste them in cramped corners.
Combos are where the points are. Set up two clears at once when you can.
Languages
Bilingual (δΈζ / EN). Toggle in the top-right corner. UI, dialogue, tutorial, and the boss cat's end-of-shift grades are all localized — I kept the soft cat-coworker voice in both languages, not a flat machine translation.
